Services Offered

JM Parrott Learning Centre

The John M. Parrot Learning Centre provides an area for our clients to work on upgrading their education in areas of math and English, as well as working on life and social skills. The learning centre also provides clients access to computers so that they may search for appropriate housing and employment.

Support Groups

FASTEC INC. runs a support group for those affected by FASD. These meetings allow for individuals and families an opportunity to get together and connect with other members of the community who face similar barriers. The support group allows individuals to share stories about their struggles and successes. The support group also offers presentations and information sessions on selected topics that many of our clients can use to improve their day to day lives.

Sandy Parson’s FASD Resource Centre

The Sandy Parson’s FASD Resource Centre offers resources on FASD. These resources include literature, multimedia materials, brochures and general information for individuals and groups who wish to learn about FASD and services that they can utilize. The resource centre also has information on services offered by other agencies which may assist our clients in other aspects of their lives.

Direct Client Services

FASTEC Inc. works with clients and advocates as directed by clients for services that will improve the quality of life of our clients and their families. These activities may include making phone calls on behalf of a client or researching information for clients to help them achieve goals that they have set for themselves. These activities may also include being present for the purposes of support at case conferences, community meetings or other events that our clients may require support with.
